DeltaARTS presents Disney’s ‘Aladdin Jr.’

Crittenden Youth Theatre show holds three performances Nov. 10- 12

DeltaARTS, CYT DeltaARTS' Crittenden Youth Theatre invites audiences to experience “a whole new world” with their K-12 production of “Disney's Aladdin JR” Nov. 10-12. The show is sponsored by State Representative Deborah and Dr. Scott Ferguson.

Directed and choreographed by Emma Crystal with musical direction by Amanda Kraft, “Aladdin” will take place Thursday, Nov. 10, at 12:30 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, Nov.

11 and 12, at 7 p.m. at the Academies of West Memphis Performing Arts Center.

Based on the iconic animated film, “Aladdin JR” is sure to send audiences soaring on a flying carpet ride filled with romance and adventure. When the street urchin, Aladdin, vies for the attention of the beautiful Princess Jasmine, he uses a genie's magic power to become a prince in order to marry her. Iago, Jafar, the Genie, and more are present in this musical adventure filled with magic, mayhem, and the power of love.

Tickets for the Thursday afternoon matinee are $5 each. Friday and Saturday performances are $12 for adults and $6 for students 12 and under. Tickets can be purchased online at or at the door.
