State gas prices steady
No movement in early May
gasbuddy.com LITTLE ROCK — Average retail gasoline prices in Arkansas have not moved in the month of May, averaging $2.51/gallon for the second straight week. This compares with the national average that has fallen 0.9 cents per gallon in the last week to $2.80/gallon, according to gasoline price website GasBuddy.com.
Including the change in gas prices in Arkansas during the past week, prices yesterday were 40.4 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and are 14.7 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.
The national average has increased 14.5 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 46.5 cents per gallon higher than this day one year ago.
