Jacob Wells from Jonesboro is a Patient at St. Judes Children’s Hospital in Memphis and has said that when he grows up he wants to be a Police Officer. Departments from the Mid South have been trying to recruit him like a 5 star athlete after hearing his story. West Memphis Officers visited him last week. Yesterday Crittenden County Deputies visited with him and deputized him as a Crittenden County Deputy and issued him his Badge and ID card and a framed photo of all the Deputies individual Pictures with Jacobs photo in the center. Visiting Jacob was Chief Investigator Todd Grooms, Lt. Darrell Prewitt, Lt. Nick James, Investigator Mike Hardin and Deputy Tyrone Moore along with Jacobs mother and grandmother. He promised to stay strong and that when he got big he was going to come to work for us. Keep Jacob and his Family in your prayers.
