By Sue Ann Elms Hamburger Fellowship The First United Methodist Church hosted a hamburger supper at Morrison Fellowship Hall last Sunday.

Several members of the 39ers of the Earle Baptist Church had dinner at Lena’s Cafe in Tyronza recently.

Included were, Rev. Bill and Kay Watt, Alvalu and Rickie Sides, Anga Turner and son, Alex, Vickey and

The Crittenden County Red Hat Muses met at Andrey’s in Marion recently.

The tables were overlaid with beige cloths decorated for Fall with leaves, ceramic leaf bowls and flowers.

Favors were Halloween sacks of candy. A prize of a large candy bar was found in one sack and won by Gerry Clark of West Memphis.

Ann Pickering-Philyaw of Earle was celebrating her September birthday and was serenaded with the Kazoos.

The group enjoyed playing bingo. Vickey Wells is the new queen Mom She and Sue Ann elms of Earle were co-hosts. Sue Ann read the story of the origin of the Red Hats.

Lenny Smith of Earle was a guest. Others present were, Jean Burns and Nancy LaFerney of West Memphis,

Polly O’Neil of Marion, Dot McKinney of Earle. ***

Comings & Goings

Eerre and Bobby Rodgers, Linda Jo Branch of Earle, Cindy Dickey of Fayetteville, Julie Thompson and Angela Shephard of Wynne enjoyed a vacation in Cancun, Mexico, where they were guests at the Royal Cancun Resort.

They enjoyed parasailing, zip lining and swimming in an underground cave.

*** John Phelps of Southaven, Mississippi, was a recent visitor of Janis Lancaster and Louis Lancaster. Janis visited in Riveridge Care Center in Wynne with Annie Fisher and Mary Irene Vogel recently.

*** Eric Elms of Memphis visited with Sue Ann Elms last Sunday after a vacation spent in Mexico City, Mexico.

*** Ann and Bobby Philyaw returned home recently after a trip to Kerville, Texas, where they visited relatives.

They were among a crowd of 70 others that attended a Raiford family reunion.
