Lakeshore, Highland Park area residents, motorists take note

Burlington Northern and Sante Fe (BNSF) Railway will be closing the railroad underpass crossing near Lakeshore Estates and Highland Park (along the I55 East Service Road) next week for several days of work.

“I received informaton from County Judge Woody Wheeless this morning that the railroad will be working on the tressel between Lakeshore and Highland from February 1, 2017 till February 8, 2017 from 8 a.m. until 3.30 p.m., and the road will be closed,” said Crittenden County Sheriff Mike Allen. “The railroad is in the process of posting signs letting everyone know the dates when this will be taking place.”
