Southland Park Gaming & Racing On behalf of Southland Park Gaming & Racing, David Wolf, President and General Manager, distributed $203,960 in funds generated by greyhound racing to state, city and county officials on March 8.

West Memphis Mayor William Johnson received a check for $72,982.36 for fifty percent of the uncashed pari-mutuel tickets for the first half of 2016.

Johnson also received a check for $57,996.24 for two-thirds of the “breakage,” which is the odd cents remaining in each pari-mutuel pool after the distributions are made in a sum equal to the next lowest multiple of 10 cents.

Charles Suiter, Jr., Crittenden County Treasurer, accepted a check on behalf of the county, for $72,982.36, or fifty percent of the uncashed pari-mutuel tickets for the second half of 2014. Both checks for the uncashed pari-mutuel tickets are distributed with the “intent that funds shall be made available to use by the Boys and Girls Club or similar non-profit charitable organizations providing recreational youth service benefitting young males and females of the city.”
