AKAs Spread Holiday Cheer

Members of the local Pi Chi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. spread some holiday cheer to the CASA children during the chapter’s yearly Underwearness Drive at their annual holiday gathering at the Meadowbrook Country Club. The chapter donated over 150 items of underwear for babies and children up to age 10, which included onesies, booties, socks, undershirts, hats, gloves, sleepers, etc. CASA Representative Patricia Lane, accepted the donation from Carolyn Anthony (incoming local Chapter President for 2018), Chairwoman Jana Rittman, and Emma Milliner Robinson, Local Chapter President 2016-2017. CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is a national association that supports and promotes court-appointed advocates for abused or neglected children in order to provide them with a safe and healthy environment in permanent homes.
