49th Annual Cotillion

On Dec. 10 at the Eugene Woods Civic Center in West Memphis, the winners in the 49th annual Docette Society Club Debutante Cotillion were crowned. First runner-up was Miss Tranaya Wright, escorted by Mr. Cameron Holliman. Miss Debutante 2017 was Simya Jeter, escorted by Kelsey Hubbard. Miss Debutante 1st runner-up and Miss Docette 2nd runner-up winner was Miss Bryshonna Fletcher, escorted by Mr. Jekiian Bradford.

And Miss Docette and Miss Debutante 2nd runner-up was awarded to Miss Shiaera Williams, escorted by Mr. Jaylan Danner.

Right: Miss Simyia Jeter, a senior at the Academies of West Memphis, was declared Miss Debutante 2017.

Miss Jeter plans to further her education at Henderson State University, majoring in Pre Med/Chemistry in her efforts to become an anesthesiologist.
