Three! Two! One!

The students at Avondale Elementary blasted off on an exciting musical adventure into outer space today with the help of some of our talented First Graders! The first grade classes of Mrs. Bouey, Ms. Jones, and Miss Harrell performed the planetary science musical, 'Spaced Out,' on Thursday, Feb. 8, under the direction of music teacher, Hannah Wells. Thanks to their performance, students and family members met many famous explorers and discovered some of the important parts of our solar system, like the sun. They also taught us a thing or two about meteors, comets, asteroids, and meteoroids. Avondale reached for the stars by starting with one small step!
