Vivian I. Porterfield

Vivian I. Porterfield at the age of 94 passed away Monday, Feb. 12, 2018 surrounded by her loving family at Three Rivers Nursing Home in Marked Tree, Arkansas. She was bom on Sept. 7, 1923 in Ripley, Mississippi to her late parents Douglas Stewart and Elsie Crum Stewart.

Vivian was a member of First United Pentecostal Church in Lepanto, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; the love of her life, Alvis Porterfield; her son, Hollis Porterfield; and two grandchildren, Danny Porterfield and Kevin Porterfield.

Vivian is survived by her daughter-in-law, Helen Porterfield; two sisters, Patricia Tarver of Cherokee Village and Zillion Mathis of Rienzi, Mississippi; brother, David Stewart (Jane) of Proctor; grandchildren, Elaine Holt (Thomas) of Tyronza, Iris Davis (Peewee) of Byhalia, Mississippi, Steven Porterfield (Bibianna) of Byhalia, Mississippi, Paul Miller (Judy) of Earle and Wanda Miller of West Memphis.

She was a devoted grandmother who loved her grandchildren unconditionally That same love was extended to her twenty-one beloved great-grandchildren, and thirty-four greatgreat- grandchildren.

The family wish to invite friends and loved ones to Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis, Arkansas to visitation on Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2018 beginning at 6 p.m.

Funeral service will be the Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018 starting at 11 a.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Crittenden Memorial Park.
