More arrests made in sweep of the county

Multi-agency efforts get drugs, guns off the streets

The combined efforts of local, state and federal law enforcement agencies resulted in another series of arrests Tuesday morning in what they described as compliance checks, Crittenden County Sheriff Mike Allen said.

“This morning Arkansas Department of Probation and Patrol, West Memphis Police, Crittenden County Sheriff’s Department, Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms along with State Probation and Parole officers took into custody four individuals on various charges,” Allen said.

During the arrest and searches two pistols were recovered and one suspect from the Proctor area was arrested in possession of more than two grams of Methamphetamine.

Allen said three of the individuals were from West Memphis and were listed by police as fugitives on the most wanted list.

“This is an ongoing collaborated effort to reduce crime in Crittenden County and we will continue this effort working together to reduce violent crimes,” Allen said.

This arrested were identified as Derrick Meux, Tamugan Robinson, Christopher Graves all of West Memphis and Christopher Little of Proctor.
