‘Making Hope Contagious’ at Cornorstone Baptist Church, 1105 Balfour Rd., West Memphis, an auction and fundraiser event, was originally set for Saturday, Sept. 7. The gathering will now take place on Saturday, Sept. 14, beginning at 2 p.m. The auction is called Making Hope Contagious.

Registration 8:30 a.m., welcome and invocation 9 a.m., growing vegetables by Tom Mashour, 10:30 a.m. All about herbs with Evelyn Mosley, 12 p.m. lunch, 1 p.m. cooking fresh with David Lycidas, and 2 p.m. preserving the bounty with Meredith Wayman.

• B.O.W. Classes — Ballet On Wheels Dance School & Co., 1015 S.

Cooper, Memphis, will be hosting girls hop hop classes for ages 8-13 beginning this Saturday, Sept. 14, and lasting 10 weeks. Enrollment cost is $180.

• Mass Flu Clinics — The Crittenden County Health Department will be having a mass flu clinic Tuesday, Sept. 24, from 9:30 a.m.

until 6 p.m. No appointment is necessary.

Insured participants are asked to bring their insurance cards.

For those individuals who do not have insurance coverage, there will be no charge. A second flu clinic will be held in Marion Tuesday, Oct. 9, from 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., at the Marion First Baptist Church.

• 13th Annual Hometown Crawfordsville Harvest Festival — Saturday, Oct. 12, from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

Music, car show, Veterans parade, arts, craft and great food. Paw Patrol will be here this year in the children’s area, drawings for great prizes and also the silent auction will be back again. provides support groups for victims of domestic violence as well as teen dating violence. We also provide “Safe Dates” Adolescent Dating Abuse Prevention Curriculum to schools, youth groups and any organization focusing on youth ages 12 and up. • Global Academy USDA Food Program — Global Academy, Inc., located at 301 N. 7th St., in West Memphis, is participating in the USDA Food Program. Meals will be available at no charge or at a reduced rate to enrolled persons at the above location. Eligibility is determined by income and household size.
