The ASU Mid-South Greyhounds Men’s Basketball Team will be hosting the Greyhound Tipoff Classic Friday, Nov.

abnd Saturday, Nov. 2, at The Dog House. The Greyhounds will play North Lake College on Friday, beginning at 7 p.m., and Parkland College on Saturday, beginning at 2 p.m.

the Marion Patriots (4-4, 3-2 in 6A East) beat the Pine Bluff Zebras (0-8, 0-5 in 6A East) this past Friday night. Up next for the Patriots is a conference away match-up against the Jacksonville Titans (5-2, 3-1) on Friday, Nov. 1.

• ASU Mid-South Women’s Basketball — The Lady Greyhounds’ 20192020 season tips off on Friday, Nov. 1, when ASU Mid-South travels to Jackson State Community College. Game time is 5 p.m. ASU Mid-South will be hosting the Lady Greyhound Classic on Friday, Nov. 8 and Saturday, Nov.

9. On Friday, the Lady Greyhounds take on St.

Louis Community College at 7 p.m. On Saturday, the Lady Greyhounds play Southwest Tennessee Community College, with a 2 p.m. start time at The Dog House.

• Steudlein Wonder Kids Charity Golf Tournament — Saturday, Nov. 2, at Marion Golf & Athletic Club. Tee-off is at 9 a.m.

Registration is $75 per person or $300 per team.

Sponsorships are available: $400 a business (includes a team entry), $200 for a Friends of Steudlein sponsorship, Hole Sponsor is $150, and a $500 sponsorship of the driving range.

There will also be a Golf Cannon for $20, a 50/50 drawing ten tickets for $10, a Vegas Hole for $10, $5 Mulligans, participation goodie bags and more. • Boys & Girls Club Basketball — Registration is underway now at the Crittenden County Boys & Girls Club. Through a Buffalo Wild Wings youth sports grant, the club is offering basketball for the 2019-2020 season at a discounted rate of $30 per player. Players will be placed on school teams for the season, with a boys and a girls division in 4th, 5th and 6th grades, to crown a County Basketball Champion (Marion MST, Marion HCGC, Marion MST, Bragg, Richland, Maddux, Weaver Jackson-Wonder, Faulk, Earle, St. Michael’s, West Memphis Christian elementary schools).

Recreational leagues for players age four through 3rd grade are also holding registrations. The deadline to sign up for the 20192020 season is Friday, Nov. 22.
