The Lady Greyhounds’ 20192020 home season tips off this weekend. ASU Mid-South will be hosting the Lady Greyhound Classic on Friday, Nov. 8 and Saturday, Nov. 9. On Friday, the Lady Greyhounds take on St. Louis Community College at 7 p.m. On Saturday, the Lady Greyhounds play Southwest Tennessee Community College, with a 2 p.m. start time at The Dog House.

The ASU Mid-South Greyhounds will be on the road this weekend playing in the Fairfield Inn Classic in Quincy, Illinois.

On Friday Nov. 8, the Greyhounds take on John Wood Community College at 7 p.m. And on Saturday, Nov. 9, it’s ASU Mid-South versus Black Hawk College-Moline at 1 p.m.

The Greyhounds return to the Dog House on Monday, Nov. 11 to take on Northwest Mississippi Community College at 7:30 p.m.

The Marion Patriots (5-4, 4-2 in 6A East) beat the Jacksonville Titans (2-7, 1-5 in 6A East) this past Friday night. Up next for the Patriots is a conference home matchup against the Jonesboro Hurricane (7-2, 5-1) on Thursday, Nov. 7.

Kick-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. Catch all the Marion Patriots Football action every Friday night this season, beginning at 7 p.m., on KWYN Country 92.5 FM on the radio, or on the Marion Patriots Athletics Network.

• West Memphis Blue Devils Football — the West Memphis Blue Devils (5-4, 4-2 in 6A East) shut out the Pine Bluff Zebras (27, 2-4 in 6A East) on the road this past Friday. The Blue Devils will be back home this Thursday night, Nov. 7, taking on the Mountain Home Bombers (0-9, 0-6 in 6A East). Game time is 7 p.m.

• Earle Bulldogs Football — The Earle Bulldogs (5-3, 3-2 in 2A North) lost to Des Arc (6-2, 5-0 in 2A North) last Friday night at home. The Bulldogs will be back in action at home in a key 2A Conference game versus Carlisle (6-3, 3-2 in 2A North) on Friday, Nov.

8. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. in Earle.

• MYSA Youth Basketball — The Marion Youth Sports Association is offering FREE youth basketball for players 13-and-under for the upcoming 20192020 MYSA basketball season. With support from local sponsors, MYSA is waiving all registration fees. Registration is underway now. To sign up online visit www.gomysa.

• Boys & Girls Club Basketball — Registration is underway now at the Crittenden County Boys & Girls Club. Through a Buffalo Wild Wings youth sports grant, the club is offering basketball for the 2019-2020 season at a discounted rate of $30 per player. Players will be placed on school teams for the season, with a boys and a girls division in 4th, 5th and 6th grades, to crown a County Basketball Champion (Marion MST, Marion HCGC, Marion MST, Bragg, Richland, Maddux, Weaver Jackson-Wonder, Faulk, Earle, St. Michael’s, West Memphis Christian elementary schools).

Recreational leagues for players age four through 3rd grade are also holding registrations. The deadline to sign up for the 20192020 season is Friday, Nov. 22.
