– The 15th Street Child Care Development Center is participating in the Child and Adult Food Program. This will provide meals to all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Meals are provided at 130 S. 14th Street in West Memphis. The program will provide breakfast, lunch and a p.m. snack, Monday-Friday.

HOME Program – Application are being taken – for ADFA’s Owner-Occupied HOME program for the residents of Earle, Arkansas. We will tear your old house down and replace it with a new house; or remove your Mobile home and replace it with a new one. You must be moderate to low income, have owned and lived in your house for at least 3 years and have debt not more that $5,000 owed on the home.

Steudlein Learning Center Accepting Applications – For the Arkansas Better Chance for School Success Program (ABC) The eligibility is based only on age, which is 3 on or before Aug. 1 and income.

Applications are available at the ABC Building at 1600 Avondale, West Memphis.

The hours of operation are 8 a.m. until 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Life Enrichment After School Program – Total Deliverance Cathedral Church, 400 Commerce St., Earle, free supper and free snack Monday through Friday 3:45-5:30 p.m. and Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. for ages 2 to 18. Transportation available. 870-636-8798 or 870-792-0177.

Literacy Council seeking tutors – The Literacy Council of Crittenden County at ASU Mid-South is looking for adults with at least a high school diploma/GED interested in one-on-one tutoring of functionally illiterate adults.
