Funds will support expansion, relocation effort for museum

From PREMIER BANK

Special to the Times

Premier Bank of Arkansas, owned by more Crittenden County stockholders than any other locally owned bank in Crittenden County, has been an integral part of the Marion and West Memphis community for the past 22 years and recently began serving Jonesboro and Craighead County. As we expand our services and service area, we continue to build strong customer relationships and hope you’ll allow us to become your preferred provider of personalized banking solutions.

The proposed museum will commemorate and honor those who experienced “The Greatest Maritime Disaster in US History”. The story of the Sultana has a national appeal and the museum is forecasted to bring in 50,000 annual visitors to Marion. Premier Bank has pledged $150,000 to the project to create the Premier Bank Orientation Theater which will be the _rst stop for museum visitors. Through the generous support of Premier Bank, the goal of a _rst-class museum will come to fruition soon.

Premier Bank prides ourselves in giving back to our local communities and believe participating in projects such as the Sultana Disaster Museum will help to grow and strengthen the communities we serve.
