READING ACROSS MARION

Share

Read Across America Week was “Seuss-tastic” at Marion Math, Science & Technology Magnet. Students spent the week celebrating one of their favorite authors with a range of fun lessons. In addition to time spent reading their favorite books, students put their STEM skills to the test. They made “Dr. Seuss Soup,” which included using measuring tools and following specific instructions. They also demonstrated their engineering expertise when building “truffula trees” with spaghetti noodles, marshmallows, and clay. Marion Math, Science & Technology Magnet is one of three magnet schools operated by the Marion School District.
