I ’ve

cracked the code! Every time we start to feel a little too safe they announce another “variant” of the virus. Going to run out of Greek letters soon. [Editor’s Note: You must have spent a lot of time crafting this message. I hope you enjoyed seeing it in print. I’m not going to waste any time responding to it] The Olympics have _nished in Tokyo, although there is still the Paralympics to start, and it has been a great success for the whole world in a time of dif_culty. The have been many stories of success but not the Barbie one. Mattel, the manufacturers of Barbie have created an incomplete and inaccurate Olympic collection. There seems to be no doll of Asian appearance with only white and dark skin example available despite this being run in an Asian country.

There does not appear to be any representatives of the LGBTQIA+ community despite a number of participants from these groups, both publicly known and some not yet willing or able to identify themselves so. It would also seem that Barbie only wins Gold Medals. There is nothing wrong with being second best in the world or 50th, it’s the participation that is important. There needs to be role models for young people, and it appears to be the athletes themselves and not the Barbie versions of the athletes.

Please don’t die of ignorance. There are some things you can change and there are some things you can’t change. But the one thing you can always change is your mind. I encourage everyone to get vaccinated.

Was at Walmart and I guess their freezers went out because they were throwing everything from the cold foods section away … And I mean everything. What a waste!!! There are plenty of hungry people in Crittenden County and I’m sure some of that food was still quite edible. A real shame!!! [Editor’s Note: There’s got to be a better solution to feeding the hungry that gambling on potentially rotten food, right? As to the Walmart, I’m sure there are very highly-monitored regulations for handling food in these kinds of situations. I remember after the _re at Colton’s they had to throw out a bunch of steaks and such. It is a shame, but sadly probably unavoidable and probably for the
