In Memoriam – USMC SSgt. Taylor Hoover

On Thursday, August 26, 2021, 13 American service members were tragically killed in Afghanistan and will be forever remembered as the heroes they were, who died saving countless number of lives.

United States Marine Corps Staff Sergeant Taylor Hoover, 31, was the nephew of native West Memphis Pastor Jeremey and his wife Heather Soto, who both serve the local community, at Victory Church of the Mid-South, located in Marion, Arkansas.

In remembrance of SSGT Hoover, if you would like to personally convey your sympathies, register books will be available for the public to sign, as long as accepting condolence correspondences that will be forwarded on to the immediate family.

The register books will be on display at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home – West Memphis and Brent Taylor and Paul McCarver Funeral Directors – Memphis, Tennessee, starting Monday, Aug. 30, 2021 until Friday, Sept. 3, 2021, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily.

We all grieve for the Americans we lost, and we pray for the all injured in the attack. Our hearts go out to all of their loved ones.
