Selection Saturday is March 5 for Marion magnet schools

Families can go online to select their school for 2022-23

Magnet School Selection Day for the Marion School District is coming soon!

Starting at 7 a.m., Saturday, March 5, families will be able to go online to select the magnet school they prefer for their children to attend during the 2022-23 school year.

This process is only for new students or students who wish to transfer to a different Marion magnet school. Students already enrolled at a magnet school, who do not wish to change schools, do not need to make a selection at this time. Students living outside the Marion School District can apply to attend through School Choice.

Seats are limited at each school, so families are encouraged to make their selections early. To make your magnet school selection, visit https://www.msd3. org/ page/ reg i s t r a t i o n and follow the link for magnet school selection.

Following Magnet School selection, the next step for families is Kindergarten Registration. Kindergarten Registration will begin online on Monday, March 7. To register a new kindergartner, visit https://www.msd3. org/page/registration and click the link for New Student Registration.

For families who need assistance with the registration process, the Marion School District Registration Of_ce is providing extended hours Tuesday, March 8, and Thursday, March 10, from 7:30-5:30 p.m. both days. The Registration Of_ce is located at 230 Pine Street.
