very close to throwing my extension cord away rather than spend the necessary time to untangle it. Ever run over a spool of twine hidden in the tall grass after your sons left it there after flying their kites? Let me assure you, you have no idea how fast those blades are going until you watch 100 yards of string get sucked up by one.

Now, I realize that none of this is particularly tragic or anything but it is super frustrating. It’s also probably why I don’t enjoy fishing… I can only imagine how many hooks and lures I would lose to underwater obstacles.

In any event, if you ever need something to get tangled, snagged or otherwise hung up for some reason, just call on Captain Inconvenience, who, like Superman is secretly a mild mannered reporter…
