Marion Christmas Parade

“Sparkle and Shine: It’s Christmas Time” in Marion. The city’s 23rd annual Christmas Parade will be Thursday, Dec. 8, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The parade will start at 120 E. Block St. and head east on Old Military Road until it reaches Highway 77. Sponsored by the Marion Chamber of Commerce and the Marion A& P Commission. Visit marion archamber.org for more information.

Santa Claus is coming to town

Jolly Old Saint Nick will make his annual “fly-in” at the West Memphis Municipal Airport on Saturday, Dec. 10. Santa will be at the airport from 1 to 3 p.m. Bring your friends and family to enjoy cookies, take pictures with Santa and celebrate the Christmas season. The West Memphis Airport is located at 737 S. Airport Rd., in West Memphis.

West Memphis Christmas Parade

The City of West Memphis presents its 70th annual Christmas Parade, Tuesday, Dec. 13, beginning at 7 p.m. See all your favorite businesses, schools, nonprofits and more making their way across town spreading holiday cheer. The parade will start at 500 W. Broadway and end at 1101 N. Missouri St. Floats, live music, candy, an appearance by Santa Claus and more! Pancakes with Santa

Come out for a free pancake breakfast with Santa! Bring the kiddos and fur babies out for some good hot breakfast and pictures with Santa, at Marion Fire Station No. 3, from 8 to 11 a.m. Hosted by the Christian Motorcycle Association. During the event they will be accepting donations for this year’s Bikes for Tykes. Help local kids get a bicycle for Christmas.

Save the Date, Holiday Arts is back in West Memphis. Shop now through Dec. 21 for yourself or that hardto- shop-for friend or loved one on your Christmas list. All your favorite artists and vendors, 400 E. Broadway. Thursdays and Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Shop local and save!

Old St. Paul services

Holiday Gala

Come join the West Memphis- Marion Alumni Chapter for for a night of fun and entertainment! This fundraiser raises money for their Achievement Foundation that supports their Guide Right Programs. These programs consist of Kappa League (Mentoring Programs), ACT Preparations Classes, Kappa Kamp (STEM Classes), school assistance funding and scholarships for students during their college careers. DJ Tim Bachus will be in the building that night doing what he does best getting people out of their seats on the dance floor. There will be great food! This event will be located at Radisson West Memphis, 2007 E Service Road, West Memphis, on Saturday, Dec. 17, from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. Tickets are on sale now for $50 each or $300 for a table of six.
