The West Memphis Utilities Commission decision to Not participate in the United Healthcare Utility Bill pay is a direct assault on it’s low income residents and does little to generate resources for the Community, it’s a careless decision and didn’t have the hope and growth for the citizens of West Memphis, it’s a selfish self serving Decision and does nothing to assist the residents.

Google searching and I did find out about United’s new “ U- Card” for their customers that gives a monthly credit for “ everyday needs like food, OTC products and utilities,” but I don’t know how that would tie into the West Memphis Utility Commission unless yo mean that city employees should have been given an opportunity to sign up for the service through the city’s benefits package.

Perhaps this is something you could explain better than I could, but it does

*** Does anyone else have trouble with their toilet or bathtub not working right since the big rain last week? [ Editor’s Note: There was someone texting earlier this year about their drains not working and backing up into the house but that was before the most recent storms that caused quite a bit of flooding. I would definitely rec-ommend
