Cancer Survivors’ Celebration Baptist Cancer Center will be hosting a special day of celebration and support at the inaugural Crittenden County Cancer Survivors’ Day, on Saturday, June 3, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the Baptist Cancer Center at Baptist-Crittenden Hospital, 2100 N. 7th St., in West Memphis. They are inviting all cancer survivors and their families to come together for a heartwarming event filled with inspiration, education and connection. Activities will include complimentary food, inspiring guest speakers, a resource booth and tours of the Cancer Center.

Splash on the Square Moms of Marion are bringing another fun community event to the Courthouse Square on Saturday, June 3. It’s “Splash on the Square,” with a cool way to deal with the summer heat.

Fire trucks will be on hand to hose everyone down, there will be wet inflatables, yard games, music and sweet treats, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Pack a picnic (coolers welcome), bring chairs and/or blankets and maybe a towel or change of clothes for the ride home. The community is invited!

Crawfordsville Hometown Flea Market The old schoolyard park in Crawfordsville will play host to a Hometown Flea Market on Saturday, June 3, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Bring your goodies to sell ($25 to secure a 10×12 space, pay upon arrival) or come looking for a bargain on a variety of goods. No tents, no animals, bring your own vending tables (flea market under the pavilion).

Tornado Siren Testing The West Memphis Office of Emergency Management will conduct periodic tests of the city’s tornado siren warning system on Saturdays at noon. These sirens are located at: Tilden Rodgers Park, the J.W.

Delta River Cruisin’ The Mid-South’s largest car show comes to West Memphis Sept. 14-17. Southland Casino will play host to over 1,000 classic cars and trucks. West Memphis Tourism expects thousands of visitors to the community for the 2023 Delta River Cruisin’ Showcase.

Bingo Night St. Michael’s Catholic Parish hosts Tuesday Night Bingo every week. Open to everyone ages 18 and up. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Games begin at 7 p.m. Smoke free and alcohol free. Concessions available.

Civil Air Patrol Civil Air Patrol meets the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Monday of each month, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the West Memphis Municipal Airport. Young people ages 12 and up can join the cadet program. Adults are needed to support the cadet program and emergency service operations.
