On a mission… a mission for God

One of the most precious things in all the world is something we call HOPE, because when we lose hope, we lose everything. When it comes to losing hope for the future of our nation, I for one am not about to let that happen. In this sense you might say that I am on a mission for God.

A quick history lesson.

You know, we fought the War for Independence against England, our mother country. WE WON! And when it comes to the war being waged against mothers in our county today, we are going to win that war, too. Last night on television I saw the most un-Godly thing I have ever seen.

It was a complete out and out assault against women, and this nonsense about changing the sex of a child and the title we should give mothers. God chose the sex of every child when they were born, and these people are so far out of line that someone needs to tell them.

It’s ironic that we fought a war against our “mother” country and now we are fighting another war against those who want to destroy “motherhood.” Still, there are millions of Americans who feel the way I do. Here is what you can take to the bank. A lot of Americans may not know that 52 of the 55 signers of the Declaration of Independence were committed Christians. It was Christians who settled our country and it will be Christians who save our country.

II Chronicles 7:14 says it all, “If My people which are called by My name shall humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” Now, please don’t misunderstand what I am saying. I respect the rights of every person, and I love them in a Godly kind of way, but I have rights too, and when I think someone is wrong, I have an obligation

to call them out, and that is what I am doing. You just think for a moment about our history. We not only won the War of Independence, but we also won two World Wars to preserve our freedom.

We have had contentious political differences in the past, even famous presidents were assassinated, but our democracy survived, and our nation will be victorious in this battle, too.

We should always seek truth because in the end that will be the winning side. On a related note, I saw last night where the Mayor of Los Angeles was going to crack down on the “smash and grab” looters in her city. This is way past due. One of the reasons America is a great nation is because we have always been a nation of law and order.

The reason for this column and the title “On a Mission for God” is that I want to give you hope if you are losing it. Hope is so very important to our way of life. When we have hope there is always a reason to press on and face the challenges that we have always faced, and always will. In some cases, we just need to stop and think about what a great country we have and how it is worth fighting for and dying for.

My encouragement is to always seek truth, as it will prevail. God bless you and God bless the United States of America.
