Barney Joe Clark

Barney Joe Clark, age 61, of West Memphis, Arkansas, died Thursday, Jan. 19, 2024, at the Forrest City Medical Center in Forrest City, Arkansas. He had been in poor health for the past three years.

Mr. Clark was born Nov. 1 1962, in Forrest City, and was the son of George Manuel Clark Sr. and Virginia Stephens Clark. He was a warehouse supervisor for Galler Foods in Memphis, Tennessee.

He is survived by one son, Tanner Clark of West Memphis; one daughter, Kimberley Abram of Wynne, Arkansas; his mother, Virginia Clark of Wynne, two brothers; Mark Clark of Collierville, Tennessee; and Larry Clark of Gainesville, Florida; as well as four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, George Clark Sr. and his brother, George Clark Jr.

Memorial services for Mr. Clark were held at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, on Monday, Jan. 23, with burial in Forrest Park Cemetery. Stevens Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements. You may log on to stevensfuneralhome.net for the online registry.
