Devils Turn Two

West Memphis Blue Devils catcher Emma Emberton made a spectacular diving catch on a popped up bunt last Tuesday afternoon against Valley View. She then fired a strike to second to double up a runner who had taken off for third base. Despite the Devils’ defensive prowess, they were shut out in a 1-0 loss to open the 5A East conference schedule.

West Memphis softball is in Gulf Shores, Alabama this weekplaying in the Gulf Shores Classic.
