The Old St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church will have in-person and Zoom Sunday School and Facebook Live Sunday School services at 8:45 a.m., and in-person and Facebook Live Sunday services (@oldstpaulchurch), at 10 a.m. Please join us on Wednesday nights for our in-person and Facebook Live Bible Study, at 6:30 p.m. March is “Empowerment Month” – Guest Speakers and Special Guest Soloists. The West Memphis Chamber of Commerce invites you to attend the inaugural Women in Business Roundtable. Join panel speakers who will share tips unique to women regarding how to navigate the workforce. This year’s keynote speaker will be Valerie Calhoun of FOX13 Memphis. Luncheon tickets are $60 for members and $75 for non-members, now through April 1. The West Memphis Office of Emergency Management will conduct periodic tests of the city’s tornado siren warning system on Saturdays at noon. These sirens are located at: Tilden Rodgers Park, the J.W. Rich Girls Club, South Avalon at the VFW, 10th Street at Jackson, Goodwin at Garden Drive and MLK Drive at Beatty. MYSA Baseball Registration is underway for the 2024 Spring Baseball season for the Marion Youth Sports Association.

MYSA will have five age groups: 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, & 11-13. The Registration is $40 and runs through March 22. Register online at gomysa.com. Tickets are $25 at the door or in advance at the church office or from any First Student Missions member. Dine-in and take-out available.

Spring Sports Registration The Crittenden County Boys & Girls Club is holding registration for its spring sports leagues. The cost is $75 per sport (with discounts for multiple sports and siblings) T-ball, Baseball, Softball, Soccer, and Volleyball. The deadline to register is Saturday, March 16. High School Completion Program Arkansas residents ages 21 and older who do not have a high school diploma can now finish school online for free through a new program from Graduation Alliance called the Arkansas Adult Diploma Program. Graduates earn an accredited high school diploma. According to a press release, Graduation Alliance can offer this program for free through a state-funded initiative administered by the Arkansas Department of Education Division of Career and Technical Education. To qualify for the program, applicants must be an Arkansas resident, 21 or older, have access to a computer and the internet, have completed at least some of 10th grade, and have not completed a GED or another high school equivalency diploma.
