Producers for “American Pickers” have announced their plans to return to Arkansas with the goal of filming multiple episodes of the History Channel hit television series in the Natural State in June.

For those not in the know, “American Pickers” is a documentary- style reality TV series that explores the fascinating world of antique “picking” on The History Channel. The hit show follows skilled pickers in the business, as they hunt for America’s most valuable antiques.

:They are always excited to find historically significant or rare items, in addition to unforgettable characters and their collections,” said associate producer Joshua Kerlin.

“As they hit the back roads from coast to coast, the Pickers are on a mission to recycle and rescue forgotten relics.

Along the way, they want to meet characters with amazing stories and fun items. They hope to give historically significant objects a new lease on life while learning a thing or two about America’s past along the way.”

Since the show’s debut in 2010, The Pickers have seen a lot of “rusty gold” over the years and are always looking to discover something they’ve never seen before.

They are ready to find extraordinary items and hear fascinating tales about them,” said Kerlin.

Lead Picker Mike Wolfe, along with his brother Robbie, “Jersey” Jon Szalay and office manager Danielle Colby have been gearing ups for a new season of the show and they are looking for leads and would love to explore your hidden treasure.

“If you or someone you know has a unique item, story to tell, and is ready to sell…we would love to hear from you!” said Kerlin.

There are some guidelines, Kerlin says.

The Pickers do not pick stores, flea markets, malls, auction businesses, museums, or anything open to the public.

“We're looking for leads throughout the state, specifically interesting characters with fascinating items,” he said. “The way we find people and collections for our show is through spreading the word far and wide so that people know we’re coming to town.”

Collectors interested in being considered for the show should reach out to us by phone at (646) 493-2184 or email at AmericanPickers @cineflix.com.

Be sure to include your full name, city and state, contact information, and a brief description of your collection.

The original “American Picker” Mike Wolfe started the show in 2010 with original co-host Frank Fritz, who left the program in 2021 over health concerns.
