Patriots set for Graduation

Nearly 300 Marion High School graduates will participate in the 2024 graduation ceremony, set for 7 p.m. Thursday, May 23, at Southern Bancorp Stadium on the campus of Marion High School. Admission to the event is free, and no tickets are required. For those who are unable to attend the event, livestream coverage will be available via the district’s YouTube channel or through the Marion Patriots Mascot Media App. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled for the following day, Friday, May 24, also at 7 p.m. at the football stadium. If weather impacts the makeup day, the next option would be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 25. Out of respect for the safety of students and guests, the Marion School District has also announced that a strict “No Drone Zone” will be enforced during the graduation ceremony. Any individuals seen flying drone aircraft in or around the stadium during the ceremony will be asked to leave the premises.
