Patriots hold commencement ceremonies

Marion seniors graduate in front of friends and family

The Marion High School Class of 2024 received their diplomas on Thursday, May 23, at Southern Bancorp Stadium, with the traditional commencement exercises in front of a large crowd of family, friends and well-wishers.

Student Council Vice-President Jaise King gave the welcome. Valedictorian Coby Hayes gave the commencement address. Superintendent Dr. Glen Fenter presented the graduates to the school board for consideration, and principal James Scott awarded the diplomas.
