Razorback men’s basketball announces staff additions

Coach Cal continues to build his squad ahead of 2024-25 season

From the University of Arkansas

FAYETTEVILLE – The University of Arkansas announced several additions to the Razorback men’s basketball staff. Bruiser Flint was tabbed special assistant to the head coach at Arkansas. He was on head coach John Calipari’s staff at Kentucky from 202024 and at UMass from 198996. He succeeded Calipari as head coach at UMass (199601) and was also head coach at Drexel (2001-06). He began his coaching career at Coppin State (1987-89) and was also an assistant at Indiana (2017-20). He was a star player at Saint Joseph’s, where he was inducted into the Hawks’ Athletic Hall of Fame in 1998.

Chris Woolard will serve as the men’s basketball general manager. He will handle the day-to-day operations of the Razorback basketball program as well as continuing to serve as executive director for the Calipari Foundation. He has worked with Calipari for the past 13 seasons at Kentucky.

The pair first crossed paths while Calipari was head coach at Memphis and Woolard was associate commissioner at Conference USA. He has also coached at Murray State and his alma mater, UCLA.

Lunetha Pryor is the men’s basketball chief of staff. She will work closely with Woolard in coordinating Coach Calipari’s schedule while assisting Calipari with his travel and recruiting responsibilities. She has worked with Calipari for 24 years spanning stints at Memphis, Kentucky and now Arkansas.
