Pumpkin Patch on the Square
The Moms of Marion and the Marion Advertising & Promotion Commission are bringing back the Community Pumpkin Patch this fall. Community members, families and businesses are invited to decorate a pumpkin and add it to the pumpkin patch at the Courthouse Square in Marion. The pumpkins will be on display from Oct. 1 to Nov. 1.
Apple Cider & Pumpkin Painting
Fall is just around the corner, and what better way to usher in autumn than painting pumpkins and sipping cider with your friends and neighbors. Come one, come all to the Marion Courthouse Square, Thursday, Oct. 3, from 5 to 6 p.m. BYOP (that’s bring your own pumpkins), paint will be provided and there will be food trucks on site. Movie Night on the Square
Get into the holiday spirit with “The Grinch,” the feature presentation at Movie Night on the Square, on Saturday, Nov. 9, beginning at 6 p.m.

West Memphis Christmas Parade
The 72nd annual West Memphis Christmas Parade will be Tuesday, Dec. 3, beginning at 7 p.m. Presented by the West Memphis Chamber of Commerce. The deadline to enter is Friday, Nov. 29. The Entry Fee is $25. Parade lineup begins at 5 p.m., in the Lehr Arena parking lot, 500 W.
Broadway, and route ends at the West Memphis Christian School parking lot, 1101 N.

Mingle & Jingle
The 4th annual Mingle & Jingle Christmas tree lighting festival will be held on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 4 to 6 p.m., at the Courthouse Square in Marion. Christmas music, live Nativity animals, vendors and food trucks, letters to Santa and pictures with Santa, the big Greenway tractor, a kiddie train, a bigger and better snow machine and more. Tornado Siren Testing
The West Memphis Office of Emergency Management will conduct periodic tests of the city’s tornado siren warning system on Saturdays at noon. These sirens are located at: Tilden Rodgers Park, the J.W. Rich Girls Club, South Avalon at the VFW, 10th Street at Jackson, Goodwin at Garden Drive and MLK Drive at Beatty Street.
