• Tax Delinquent Land Sale Scheduled – A public auction for the sale of tax delinquent land in Crittenden County will be held Thursday, May 26 at 10 a.m. at the Crittenden County Courthouse. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. A catalog of tax delinquent lands can be found at www.cosl.org. Delinquent property owners may call 501324-9422 to request a Petition to Redeem or they may look up the delinquent parcel on the COSL website and print it from there.

• West Memphis Holiday Sanitation Schedule – No service Monday, May 30th. Monday, May 30th and Tuesday, May 31st customers will be serviced on Tuesday, May 31st. Regular schedule resumes on Wednesday, June 1.

• Small Fry Triathlon – Brunetti Field in Marion on Saturday, June 4 from 9 a.m. until noon. A great race for kids ages 2-6! The athletes will run 25 yards, bike/trike 50 yards and “swim” through water spray for 10 yards. Each racer gets a racing bib, T-shirt and gold medal. $20 per child, after May 27th $25 per child. • Notice of Marion Special Education Records to be destroyed – Records that are five years old will be destroyed. If your child was receiving special education services during the school year 2009-2010, you have the right to review and request copies of these records before they are destroyed. • Crittenden County Master Gardeners Scholarship – The Crittenden County Master Gardeners are pleased to award secondary education scholarship annually. These scholarships are funded by CCMG projects conducted throughout the year. • Water Use Reporting For 2015 – The Crittenden Conservation District is now registering irrigation wells for usage on farms for 2015. As a registered water user you are protecting your rights to the use of an equitable amount of surface water in times of shortage and to establish ground water rights within critical areas. Act of 154 of 1991 requires users of ground and surface water be assessed an annual fee in the amount of $10 per well and relift site. Act 408 of 1989 provides for the collection of a late registration penalty. Any person who fails to register a well or relift site by the deadline shall be subject to a penalty for each year they fail to register. April 1 is $25 late fee.
