Hurricane Plotting at MJHS

At Marion Junior High School Mr. Johengen’s students were hard at work last week simulating meteorological applications of hurricane plotting for their upcoming distance learning project. Their math, science, geography and communication skills will be put to the ultimate test this Wednesday and Thursday as they engage in a simulated rescue operation with a NASA representative! A little timely science lesson with all of the turbulnent weather in the Caribbean lately.
