The Lady Greyhounds close out the month on Monday, Jan. 27, when ASU Mid-South hits the road for an away game at Northwest Mississippi Community College.

Game time is 5 p.m.

The Greyhounds Men’s Basktetball is on the road again to finish out the month.

On Monday, Jan. 27, the Greyhounds are at Northwest Mississippi Community College for a 7 p.m. start, and on Thursday, Jan. 30, ASU Mid-South heads to West Kentucky CTC. Tipoff time is set for 7:30 p.m.

The Blue Devils are back home for a tilt with the Greene County Tech Eagles on Tuesday, Jan. 28, at 7 p.m. Then it’s back on the road, with West Memphis vs. Mountain Home on Friday, Jan. 31.

First game in Mountain Home is at 5 p.m, with JV action getting things started.

• Marion Boys Basketball — The Marion Patriots will be at home for a key matchup with Paragould this week.

The Rams and Patriots square off at home at 7 p.m. And on Friday, Jan. 31, when Marion takes on the Jonesboro Hurricane on the road in a pivotal 5A conference game. Tipoff time is 7 p.m. in Jonesboro.

• Earle Boys Basketball — The Earle Bulldogs have three big games coming up on the schedule. On Tuesday, Jan. 28, the Earle Bulldogs play host to 2A Conference rivals Cross County, with JV action beginning at 5 p.m. On Thursday, Jan. 30, Bay comes to town to battle the Bulldogs., and then McCrory will invade the Earle High School gym for a 5 p.m. tipoff to the JV portion of the night’s games on Friday, Jan. 31. ***

• West Memphis Christian Basketball — The WMCS Black Knights will be closing out the season at home.

On Friday, Jan. 31, Macon Road/Delta Streets Academy will be in town as WMCS holds its Class of 2020 “Senior Night” festivities. Game time is 6 p.m.

• West Memphis Girls Basketball — The Lady Blue Devils are back home to take on the Greene County Tech Eagles on Tuesday, Jan. 28, at 6 p.m. West Memphis then hits the road, heading to Mountain Home on Friday, Jan. 31. Game time is 6 p.m., following the junior varsity games.

• Marion Girls Basketball — The Lady Patriots will host Paragould this week, taking on the Lady Rams at home. Game time is 6 p.m. Then it’s back on the road on Friday, Jan.

• Earle Girls Basketball — The Earle Lady Bulldogs will enjoy a homestad to finish out the month. On Tuesday Jan. 28, Cross County (Cherry Valley) comes to town to tussle with the Bulldogs in a rivalry game, with action beginning at 5 p.m., and on Friday, Jan. 31, Earle welcomes McCrory to town with a full slate of games. First tipoff is set for 5 p.m. in Earle.

• Memphis in May Triathlon — The 38th Annual Memphis in May Olympic Triathlon, one of the oldest continuous running triathlon events in the United States, presented by P.R.

Event Management, LLC and in association with Memphis Tourism, the Olympic and Sprint Triathlons and Sports Expo is moving from Edmund Orgill Park in Millington where it has been held since 2015 to Shelby Farms Park in Memphis, Tenn. Shelby Farms, one of the 20 largest urban parks in the United States, includes 4,500 acres and covers more than five times the area of Central Park in New York City.

• Herbert Carter Missions Memorial Golf Tournament — Get a team and compete in the Herbert Carter Missions Memorial Golf Tournament, on April 20, 2020.

The tournament will be a 4-man scramble at Marion Golf & Athletic Club.

Register at Marion First Baptist Church. The cost is $300 per team. Lunch will be provided at noon, with tee time at 1 p.m.
