Spotlight on: Unity Hospice Care
Full service hospice care for your family.
Established in 2001, Unity Hospice Care is a full service Hospice care provider. We are committed to providing compassionate care to our patients and families. We believe that each individual should be granted the opportunity to die in a dignified and comfortable manner. Our focus is to enable our patients to live as fully and comfortably as possible while providing spiritual and palliative care through God’s grace.
This special care is primarily provided in the patient’s home. However, those living in nursing homes, assisted living facilities or other in-patient facilities may also be eligible.
Our core values are the principles and beliefs of our organization and its motivation through:
■ ■ Compassion
■ ■ Dignity
■ ■ Integrity
■ ■ Quality
■ ■ Service
■ ■ Stewardship
At life’s end, it is important for your loved one to be sustained spiritually and to feel wrapped in the warm glow of human love. In preparation for life’s last journey, pain should subside, care should abound and faith should flourish.
Unity Hospice Care is dedicated to providing a special way of caring for individuals during their final phase of life, offering pain control and symptom relief and allowing the individual to live life as fully and comfortably as possible.
Patient and Family Focus
As a family member suffering loss, your well-being is important, also. Just as we care for a dying loved one, Unity is also aware of your needs and seeks to be a source of support and encouragement during this difficult time. Our focus is on the patient and the family rather than the disease.
After a loved one passes, we want your last memories to be special and positive. We want you to feel your family member was in good hands with Unity. Our goal is to ensure that their last moments are comfortable, that their departure from this life is peaceful and that you can rest easy knowing you did all you could for them in their final hours.

Unity Hospice Care offers Grief Support to those who have experienced the death of a loved one. Grief is a reaction to a loss affecting all parts of our lives physically, emotionally, spiritually, socially, and psychologically. It is a very personal journey to which there are no roadmaps, guidelines, or specifics. Therefore, it is our belief that participation in a grief support group is one of the most effective ways to cope with the pain associated with the loss of someone you love.
If you are interested in participating in a group or wish to speak with someone on an individual basis, our bereavement team will be available to assist you.
