To all of the graduating seniors out there missing out on graduation, I know it sucks but in a year you won’t even remember it.

Instead just think about all the goog times you had and all the adventures to come!

[ Editor’s Note: Look, I know you’re right, and deep down, the members of the Class of 2020 know you’re right, but in the moment, when what’s happening now is the most important thing in the world ( whatever that thing might be to you), it’s a huge deal. But yeah, this is just one of those things.

What’s the old saying?

“ Life is what happens while you’re busy making other plans” or something like that. Besides, I think these virtual graduations are not that bad. I saw a funny ( to me) thing on the internet that said something like, “ For all you seniors missing out on that authentic traditional graduation experience, just go wrap yourself in a shower curtain and stand in the hot sun for three hours while someone reads the phone book to you out loud. And it’s true… the worst part of graduation ceremonies is the ceremony itself]

*** What happened to the overpass we were supposed to get AND ARE ALREADY PAYING FOR in Marion? I am so sick of these trains!!! Somethings gotta give!

[ Editor’s Note: Last I heard, the planning for the overpass was “ aroun 90 percent completed”… of course that was three months ago and before everything came to a screeching halt due to the virus. It is definitely still happening, but I would not hold your breath. As for all the trains… I feel you!]
