Animal Shelter receives donation
West Memphis Animal Alliance gifts $5,000 toward meeting shelter needs

West Memphis Animal Control Director Kerry Facello just smiles when she sees Christ Carter coming. Carter leads the efforts of the West Memphis Animal Alliance a private non-profit aimed at helping the city animal shelter. The group had delivered $22,000 over the last 18 months.
The WMAA handed over another $5,000 to the shelter last week to help offset medical expenses.
“We are so thankful to be able to support the West Memphis animal shelter, especially as medical bills continue to rise,” said Carter.
