A pair of fatalities in separate incidents Monday

State Police worked two fatal accidents in Crittenden County overnight Monday according to Sheriff Mike Allen.

'Two Crittenden County men were killed,' said Allen.

Michael H. Purkey of Horseshoe Lake was killed in midnight a one vehicle rollover crash southbound on Highway 147 near Anthonyville The crash happened in the wee hours, Tuesday morning, August 4. The 57-year-old driving alone in a 2011 Chevy Silverado, the vehicle left the road, rolled over and caught on fire. According to State police the weather was clear and the road was dry.

State Police reported a second overnight Highway fatality in Crittenden County near Earle where vehicle struck a pedestrian on Highway 64.

A westbound Dodge Charger struck a 38-yearold male, Tredell Lacy, as he walked south across the highway at 10:00 p.m.

Monday, August 3.

State Troopers logged the highway fatalities as numbers 356 and 357 this year in Arkansas.
