Well, well, well… looks like Joe Biden and the Democratic Party have done a 180-degree turn, calling for us to 'unite' after they did nothing for four years but 'resist.'

Have there been any riots, burning, looting, violence from Republicans over the election results? No, because Republicans are generally civil, law-abiding, love America and believe everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Republicans have not threatened like Madonna when she said she 'thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House' or stating we are leaving the country like Whoopie, Cher, Myllie Cyrus and other celebrities did. Funny thing they are all still here complaining and whining since the 2016 elections.

Now Whoopie is telling Trump supporters to suck it up even though she never did. Democrats never accepted Trump as president and spent his first term trying to get rid of him. I don't accept Biden as president because there has to be voter fraud when you look at the small crowds at Biden's speeches and the massive crowds at Trump's rallies. The accusations of voter fraud will have to play out in the courts. [ Editor’s Note: My son is in his final semester of law school at the University of Arkansas. Not trying to brag or anything ( although I never get tired of bragging on my kids), just giving you some background information. He’s always had a mind for that sort of logical thinking and using word to form a cogent argument. One time, many years ago, we were both at some sort of family gathering and, like always, there was plenty of political discourse. I don’t remember the exact topic right now, but after being presented with some information, someone responded, “ Well, I don’t know if I believe that.” To which my son replied, “ That’s the great things about facts. It doesn’t matter if you believe them or not.” Now to your specific remarks…

First off, it’s “ Whoopi” not “ Whoopie” if you’re referring to Whoopi Goldberg.

Second, Biden’s crowds were likely much smaller because his supporters are much more likely to have the sense to follow COVID19 safety protocols. I sure do miss my weekly “ Point/ Counterpoint” columns with good ol’ Michael Coulter. This is just the sort of thing he’d be all over. He even liked to start his column off with “ Well, well, well”… Wait a

*** So, the governor now says we have to wear masks in church at all times? Why specifically churches? That seems like a target against Christians most of whom are Trump supporters.

Hmmm! [ Editor’s Note: Funny, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a “ Hmmm” end in an exclamation point.

How would you even say that out loud? Anyway, the mask mandate issued earlier this week specifically said churches because ( and surely you know this) you’re supposed to already be wearing a mask everywhere else people gather.

Weird that you would make it political, since literally every elected office at the state level in Arkansas is
