I see the sheriff is going to run again but what about Woody Wheeless? Maybe we can get him to run for congress???

[ Editor’s Note: I haven’t heard anything about Wheeless and whether or not he intends to seek another term as County Judge. It is a little early in the process for those types of announcements, though. I think Sheriff Allen expressed his intentions so early was to address rumors that he was planning on stepping down, both to let voters know and to let any potential rival candidates know that they would have to defeat him at the polls to get into office.

Judge Wheeless is likely to run again, if I’m just guessing ( and I am), but I, like you would not mind seeing him seek a higher office. I think he would do just fine as a state assemblyman or even as a congressional candidate, although I’d rather, on a personal level, like to see him stay here closer to home and continue his work on the county level]
