Made In America

Share

Americans love supporting anything made in America.

How do you see America? Is America hostile or helping?

Living in America is different for everyone. When people see made in America they automatically think about the produced or assembled items in the United States.

But what does “made in the America” even mean?

Have you ever thought about the attitudes that are made in America? Nearly all American’s believe in their Creator, and the belief that all human Americans have rights to their life, and liberty. Is your American life your life or society life? Are people taught to have entitlements or provide the entitlements to others?

Each human produced in America believes that they are free or have been freed.

Americans are taught to believe that with education and hard work the idea of human freedom is automatically granted. What about the discriminations that are made in America? Discrimination is a prominent and critically important matter in American life and throughout American history. Discriminations are learned and will continue to exist, among mankind mainly because of race, ethnicity, and gender. Discrimination is based in laws, government policies, and prejudice of individual people.

Only the inspired attitudes of public servants, teachers, entrepreneurs, military members, and more positive leaders can influence the haters to stop Americans from discriminating amongst one another. However minority groups in America are unfortunately often subjected to discrimination. Although the United States has come a long way since the days of slavery, and by granting equal rights on the basis of race, racism is still a very pressing problem in the Nation today.

‘A Political View’

By Sherry Holliman SHERRY HOLLIMAN (cont.)

Sometimes, it is blatant and open, subtle, or practiced in the system with racial profiling, by law enforcement officers and other government officials, use of redlining, shopping, and receiving or not receiving education. There are also known discriminatory policies in schools that lead to the so-called “school-toprison pipeline.” Due to zero-tolerance policies in schools, disadvantaged youths quickly end up being pushed out of school and into the juvenile and criminal justice systems, instead of being given a chance and receiving counseling within the school system.

America is and always has been a very multicultural country. America is far from resolving its racism problem. Whether it is challenging the treatment by police or reducing poverty, the reality of the world will always be that one's skin color can determine a whole range of variables in their life. This is possible because the American's that are made in America have the freedom of choice. Being made in America on one hand, provides ideals of freedom and equality and on the other hand an economic reality of a social class system that places automatic biases for certain humans.

Being made in America should be about producing equal treatment for everyone.

If everyone should be taught this from birth to treat everyone equally, do not discriminate and everyone is the same. America might be less likely to be a nation of hate!

But sadly due to past and current reported hate crimes it is obvious that most American makers will continue to teach hatred for difference of each other which will and has empowered the growth of the discrimination cycle that will never end. It is also believed that due to the uncertainty of the current political conditions the implicit, conscious biases everywhere are affecting people’s lives through oppressions, such as constantly changing voting laws, providing equal access to education, seeking employment, fair treatment by law enforcement and fair sentencing in the criminal justice system.

Readers when you see made in America ask yourself about the teaching and learning process for each human that could potentially impact the Nation as: “United we stand divided we fall.”

Discrimination is the product of specific historical and social forces. It seems that America is in the midst of changing now. But it is difficult to predict how this will end.
