Old St. Paul MB Church has suspended in-person worship services due to COVID-19, Facebook worship services at 10 a.m. each Sunday morning.

Please join us for our Zoom and Facebook live Sunday School at 8:45 a.m. each Sunday and Facebook live Bible Study each Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. @oldstpaulchurch.

The City of West Memphis is hosting a special Halloween Drive-Thru Trick-or-Treat candy giveaway, Thursday, Oct. 28, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Eugene Woods Civic Center, 212 W. St. Michael’s Catholic School will have its annual Chili Supper & Fall Carnival on Saturday, Oct. 30, from 5:45 to 8 p.m. Chili Supper tickets are $5. Fall Carnival tickets are $5. There will also be a freezer raffle.

Raffle tickets are $5 each or five for $20.

First Marion Fall Festival Marion First Baptist Church will be hosting a community- wide Trunk-or-Treat and Fall Festival. Games and candy for the kids, food trucks, hayrides, live music and more for everyone, Sunday, Oct. 31, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Marion School Board The Marion School District has released its calendar for the monthly School Board meetings for the 2021-22 school year. All meetings are held at 6 p.m., at the Central Office, 200 Manor Street, in Marion. Meetings will take place on: Nov. 18, Dec. 16, Jan. 20, 2022, Feb. 17, Mar. 17, Apr. 21, May 19, and June 16, 2022. The public is invited to attend.

Bingo Night St. Michael’s Catholic Parish hosts Tuesday Night Bingo every week. Open to everyone ages 18 and up.

Civil Air Patrol Civil Air Patrol meets the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the ASU Aviation Technical Center, 737 Taxiway Drive, in West Memphis. Young people ages 12 and up can join the cadet program. Adults are needed to support the cadet program and emergency service operations.

West Memphis City Council Meetings Meeting schedule: 1:30 p.m., on the first Thursday of each month; 5 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month, at West Memphis City Hall, 205 S. Redding St., in West Memphis. All meetings are open to the public.

Crittenden County Health Unit The Crittenden County Health Unit will have special extended hours every Tuesday from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. These adjusted hours give the unit the opportunity to stay open later to accommodate those who are not able to come during normal business hours.

Clinical services that are available include: Women, Infants & Children (WIC), nutrition counseling and support, birth control pickups, Depo shots, sexually transmitted infection (STI) screening and services, and immunizations. Family Planning Late Clinic will be the third Tuesday each month. For more information on services and regular hours call 870-7354334. Volunteer Drivers Needed Jim Fiveash, the commander of the American Legion Post 53 needs Volunteer Van Drivers to transport veterans who live in Crittenden County to their VA appointments at the Memphis VA Medical Center and the new Primary Clinic in East Memphis.
