Judy was born on March 23, 1951, in Helena, Arkansas, then moved to the bootheel of Missouri (Portageville) where she attended school. She married and moved to St. Louis where she had 3 children: Larry Travis Shaun Carter (preceded in death 1998), Julie Rene Autry (Carter) of West Memphis, and Dawn Marie Rabe (Carter) of Memphis.

She leaves behind her daughters, Julie and Dawn (Brian); her grandchildren Natalie Selph (Sam), Molly Autry, Aidan Ford; & great-granddaughter, Keegan Selph; Her sisters Helen Harris (niece Melinda) & Debbie Young-Burks (niece Brianne). Brothers Donald Woodson (nephews Billy and John Eric) & Tommy Young (niece Michelle). She was preceded in death by her brother Charles Woodson. She also leaves behind many friends and family who will continue to love and miss her. She lived in West Memphis from the 1990’s until her nal days; and met Jesus on October 5, 2021 in the comfort of her own home. She lived her life for her children and would have done anything for them. She battled with illnesses the last year of her life, but her strength and determination gave her children, family and friends precious time with her. She was sel_ess and donated her body to Science where those in the medical eld will be able to learn from her, which will benet the medical/nursing eld for years to come.

There will be a Celebration of Life for her on October, 30 2021, in her daughter Dawn Rabe’s home from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Those that would like to attend, please contact the family.
