VETERANS’ SALUTE

We asked readers to submit a photo and brief profile of area veterans ahead of the Veterans Day holiday. A special thank you to these two men and to all of those who serve to defend our freedom yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Bradley Wayne Carter served his country in the U.S. Army in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Carter served in the Army from 2006 to 2013.

James Pulliaum served in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Marine Corps. Today, he remains a part of the military community with the local VFW as well as the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESRG) initiative. He was a longtime member of the West Memphis City Council and currently serves as City Clerk.
