Master Gardeners Plant Sale

The 2022 Crittenden County Master Gardener’s Annual Spring Plant Sale is this weekend, just in time for Mother’s Day. The big event is Friday, May 6 and Saturday, May 7, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, at 12401 Hwy. 70, in Proctor. A variety of plants, flowers, garden and lawnthemed decorative items and more. Rain or shine. No appointment necessary.

Blues Off Broadway

Main Street West Memphis presents the return of Blues Off Broadway, featuring free live music every Thursday in May, from 6 to 9 p.m., 212 W. Polk. Blues, Brwes & Food. Scheduled to appear are, May 5: Infinity Band, a Classic Soul Band with a Twist; May 12: Lucious Spiller Blues Band with special guest Watermelon Slim; May 19: Akeem Kemp and Albert King, Jr.; May 26: Baunie & Soul and Johnie B. & Queen Iretta. Spring on the Square

The Marion Chamber of Commerce presents Spring on the Square, Saturday, May 14, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This Arts & Crafts fair at the Marion Courthouse Square will feature a wide variety of vendors with something for everyone. Ditching the Cape

“You don’t have to be a hero all the time.” Saturday, May 21, the West Memphis Area Alumnae Chapter’s Mental Health Committee presents a special event at the West Memphis Public Library, 500 E. Broadway. Come learn about important selfcare strategies, the effects of stress on your physical, mental and spiritual health, and how keeping the “cape” on can ultimately hurt you more than help you.
