The Old St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church will have in-person and Zoom Sunday School and Facebook Live Sunday School services at 8:45 a.m., and in-person and Facebook Live Sunday services (@oldstpaulchurch), at 10 a.m. Please join us on Wednesday nights for our in-person and Facebook Live Bible Study, at 6:30 p.m. Host Pastor is Frederick and First Lady Eair Anthony. “We are a church that grows people and glorifies God.”

The West Memphis Office of Emergency Management will conduct periodic tests of the city’s tornado siren warning system on Saturdays at noon. These sirens are located at: Tilden Rodgers Park, the J.W. Rich Girls Club, South Avalon at the VFW, 10th Street at Jackson, Goodwin at Garden Drive and MLK Drive at Beatty. The West Memphis Blue Devils and members of the West Memphis Police Department are gearing up for a hardcourt clash in the 2nd annual AWM vs.

WMPD March Madness basketball game, set for Saturday, March 9, beginning at 10 a.m., at Lehr Arena in West Memphis.

Tickets are $5. Contact any WMSD school resource officer for tickets.

Registration is underway for the 2024 Spring Baseball season for the Marion Youth Sports Association.

MYSA will have five age groups: 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, & 11-13. The Registration is $40 and runs through March 22. Register online at gomysa.com. Tickets are $25 at the door or in advance at the church office or from any First Student Missions member. Dine-in and take-out available.

First Marion Mission Auction & Steak Dinner Marion First Baptist Church, 2137 Hwy. 77 N., in Marion will be hosting its annual Mission Auction & Steak Dinner in support of its youth mission programs, Friday, March 1, in the Goodwin Life Center gymnasium at the church. Dinner starts at 5:30 p.m., auction starts at 6:30 p.m.

Sporting Clay Shoot Mark your calendars for Saturday, March 2, and make plans to come out to the Great River Lodge in Proctor for the Sporting Clay Shoot. Team competition (4 person), Under 12 BB competition, or just come and hang out and enjoy $35 crawfish plates.

Civil Air Patrol Civil Air Patrol meets the first, second and third Monday of each month, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the West Memphis Municipal Airport.
