It’s no secret that many children’s parents struggle to put presents under the Christmas tree here in a low-income area like Crittenden County But the associates at Bosch Power Tools in West Memphis gave Santa Claus a helping hand this year, a holiday tradition for Bosch. For over 12 years, their associates have adopted children from a school in the community for their annual Angel Tree program.
This year, the associates bought gifts for over 50 children selected by the school’s administrators.
Each “angel” received shoes, clothes, and the toy they wished for in their letter to Santa.

like Bosch Power Tools and everyone who made this year’s event possible for these children that need them the most,” said Mayor McClendon. “It really does relieve the pressure that some parents face this time of year.”
The kids were gathered together at the Eugene Woods Civic Center on Thursday, Dec. 15 for the big Christmas party and present distribution, with many of the children immediately trying out their new bikes and toys.
