Birthday Buddies Carl and Eveline Vaughn were honored for their 96th birthdays with a party held at the First United Methodist Church Morrison Fellowship Hall, Dec. 22.

Eveline was born Dec.

20, 1922 and Carl was born Dec. 23, 1922. They have six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Eveline had an identical twin sister. She and Carl have identical twin granddaughters.

The Christmas theme was carried out in decorations.

Pick up foods and punch was enjoyed by the 50 guests from Earle, Little Rock, Maumelle, Benton, Russellville, West Memphis, Marion, Cordova, Tennessee, Memphis, Tennessee and Southaven, Mississippi.

Co-hosts were Ann and Chuck Eaton, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Vaughn, Mary Marconi, Carolyn Perkins, Kay Tyler and the United Methodist Women.

A large birthday cake was served to celebrate Carl, Eveline and her twin sister, the late Maxine Roberts birthdays.

Music Cotierie

The Earle Music Coterie will meet at the First United Methodist Church Jan.

17 at 7 p.m.

Dr. J. D. Kelly will present the program. Eric Elms is program leader.

Co-hosts are Stacie Grubbs and Donna Hooker.

Everyone is invited to attend.

Fifth Sunday Singing The 5th Sunday night Hymn Sing was held at the Earle Baptist Church.

Rev. Tony Wells, pastor, led the singing and Alex Turner was pianist.

Soloist were Mary Ann Carnes, Frances Gamble and Rev. Wells.

A reception was held following the service.

Comings & Goings

Charlene and Elbert Person spent Christmas in the home of Jenny and Ellis Haddad and son Jack.

Kay and Richard Rogers were in West Memphis on Christmas day where they joined family members at the home of Mandy and Marshall Humphries.

Others present were Amy and Dr. Bill Richards, Wesley Richards and Emily Richards. Acy and Lindsey Humphries and children Acelynn and Anniston.

Sara and Shawn Turner, Matt and Lauren Rogers and son William.

Sue Ann Elms was in Ward Christmas day in the home of Christina and Anthony English and sons Liam and Levi.

Joining them was Kathy Smith and her husband Paul of Cabot, Sydney Gangluff, Staci and Lynn Fitzgerald, Mason Fitzgerald and Elizabeth Potratz of North Little Rock, Karli Potratz and Mason Goheen of Lonoke, Jeff Sanders of West Point, Sinthey Catherine Breyel of Lewisville, Texas and Eric Elms and Corey Lewis of Memphis and Kevin Elms of Russellville.

Ann and Bob Philyaw were in Proctor at the home of Terri and Jim Kuhn during the holidays.

They were joined by Kent Peters of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Chad Kirley and children Emma and Jackson of West Memphis, Lacie Hudgins, Megan and Katie Greer of Jenks, Oklahoma, April Harvey and sons Wade and Nolan.
